Community Service

Ashburn, Virginia. Known to some in jest as "Cashburn" because of the success of the residents. Looking at the homes, cars, shops and statistics, it would be hard to argue that we are not in an enviable position. However, if you look a little deeper, there are neighbors of yours that sometime need a little assistance. It could be financial, it could be emotional, it could be physical. Neighbors should look out for each other and as Ruritans that is what we do.

As you can see from our mission, we do not try to solve all the challenges that crop up rather we mostly focus on helping school age children. Sometimes this is buying them glasses. We pay to fix smiles. We support kids who may be excluded from school events that require payments like field trips.

Additionally, we provide outstanding student citizen scholarships each year to tomorrow's leaders.
